Julie London（9.26.1926–10.18.2000），原名Julie Peck。16岁那年，她被星探发掘，易名为Julie London，银幕生涯亦由此起。1947年，她嫁给了同为演员的Jack Webb。据说他们的婚姻不太如意，但他们两人都有一个共同的爱好-—JAZZ。两人的婚姻在7年后走到了尽头，Julie的心情也陷入了低潮，但她对爵士的兴趣却没有减退。而真正让她生命大放光彩的人，她的第二任丈夫Bobby Troup，也是Julie在一个jazz吧里面认识的。Bobby Troup是一个爵士音乐的作曲家，他在追求Julie的时候发现她唱的歌殷哑诱人，一听难忘，便积极地鼓励她开创歌艺事业。在一番考虑之后，Julie开始在881 Club献唱，观众的反应也很热烈。 尽管在夜总会的演唱反映热烈，Bobby却在为她拉唱片合约时吃了不少公司的闭门羹。最后，Liberty唱片公司签下了Julie。Julie的处女专辑《Julie Is Her Name》，伴奏方式和她在夜总会用是一样的，只有简简单单的吉它和贝斯。如此淡寂的专辑，真让人担心它一推出就会被摇滚的大浪所淹没。出乎意料之外，专辑的第一支单曲《Cry Me A River》一发行，就广为传唱。《Julie Is Her Name》，Julie在30岁发行的首张专辑，也成为经典的浪漫情歌集。… 了解更多
