I agree it's pearl merchant. I think that's what it represents on Gustaf and Malin's shoulder on the album cover. I find it to be an intriguing and beautiful lyric with different ways of interpreting what it means. To me, it's someone who owns all the wonders of the world but they have their price. The song is great but I prefer the original live from Islington Mill.

It's "pearl merchant". Apparently they tweeted that. I've always heard "? merchant" and wondered what it is but yeah apparently it's pearl. Some religious story I think. Or something. Love this song though. Have to listen to them more. Feel like a bad Swede for not loving these guys already.

@ Anthonycarew, I don't think she sings 'like a virgin' it sounds more like 'a bird emerging' and someone interpreted it as 'pearl merchant' though that would be weird. I'm embarresed for saying this, but this song reminds me of the Hunger Games.. with all the 'if tomorrow comes..' 'find a way home' and fire stuff.

i've been listening to this jam in my car a whole pile, and come to the conclusion that this may be the silly pop-song lyric of the year: "i wanna waste my love on you - like a virgin!"

I'm listening this song everyday! making it ironic that I know I'll hear it Tomorrow.
