Spice Girls出道（1995年底）至今，已拥有9首全英冠军单曲，这种惊人的成就让人不禁想起在1995年2月解散的Take That（接招合唱团）当年叱咤乐坛的盛况。而当年Spice Girls前经纪人Chris Herbert也就是想创造一个女的接招合唱团（Female Take That）的情况下，才开始在英国举办了甄选活动。Spice Girls的五位女孩在塑造偶像的超级经纪人Simon Fuller经营下，她们从英国迈向全世界，成为乐坛第一个女子偶像团体奇迹。 1994 年3月时经纪人Chris Herbert举办了一场Female Take That的试演会上，从400多位试唱者中选出了Melanie Brown (Mel 、Melanie Chisholm (Mel C)、Victoria Adams (Victoria)、Geri Halliwell (Geri)与Michelle Stephenson五人组成了Touch，但是Michelle遽然离团、Emma Bunton于9月加入后便改名为Spice Girls。1995年她们与EMI旗下的Virgin唱片签约后便陆续开始与英国当地媒体接触，而她们在伦敦St. Pancras饭店所拍摄的Wannabe一曲于7月份推出后立即登上英国金榜冠军，为她们接着来的康庄前程铺下了一条顺遂之路。 紧接着Wan… 了解更多
