yeah, I'm gonna retract my previous statement and say that Sub Verses is really good.. However, their other albums are SO GOOD, that it was a completely relative statement.

I saw them too in 2011, they were good for the most part but went on the verge of self parody at times. Not a bad show by any means (I've seen ten times worse) but I know a lot of people who saw them same show I did were not too impressed. Anyone heard the new album yet?

yeah, I've been to 200+ shows and they were definitely memorable. Even with only 3 people (I wish I had seen them when they still had like 19 members)

yeah, they're usually amazing live. last Friday's Athens show was a notable exception, but it seemed like it was partially due to a lack of an audience. I dunno, I still enjoyed it.

Really?? Saw them in London last summer and they were absolutely incredible, one of the best live shows I've ever seen. The sound was amazing, they got the whole audience involved, and nailed some killer jams. They were clearly having a great time, so we all did too. Sorry they were a disappointment...
