HOAX is dope. Their FT collab albums have both been fantastic imo. Love that they’re leaning into pop sensibilities? Angels Rig Hook was a total jaw dropper debut, and I won’t soon forget how ????!!!! I felt when I first heard it. AS aging hasn’t been quite that level of confounding, butttt AS evolution is totally siq and gnar in its own way and I’m grateful for it

Wish they would go back to making awesome alien dclub beats like AS, AS Live [][][][], and Angels Rig Hook... :(

There are some interesting ideas, but few of the surprises and impressions you hear on AS or Angels Rig Hook. while good songs like Merge and Ride shine through, there are also boring and mediocre songs that are often boring and mediocre, so you won't be listening through them very often. 5/10

pleasantly surprised by the album and the direction they're going to. The tracks with Lalita are the best.

New record is a mixed bag, some good tunes here and there but some embarrasing bad moments (As Trouble, As Going, As Labyrinth) that almost ruin the whole thing for me. I kinda miss their less direct and more nuanced sound from 2016. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for experimentation and trying new things, but in this case it kinda killed what made them so good to start with it.

That cover is so disgusting I won't even try with the album. I didn't liked the single very much anyway, they peaked with their debut EP
