Apparently, the life expectancy for someone with Marfan Syndrome extends into one's 70s. So perhaps we'll get a swashbuckling, troubadouresque reemergence in the form of a krautfolk record in a couple decades.

My first shoegaze artist that I properly listened to and scrobbled! I only have Logos so far, I have listened to the tracks The Light That Failed to Shelia so far. Highly enjoyable music. What a good introduction to shoegaze!

These tags are false as always. It's as much shoegaze as Queens of the stone age is a metal. Especially those tracks you said. It's more dream/psychedelic pop. If you want shoegaze then try listen to classic bands of this genre like My bloody valentine, Slowdive, early The Verve, etc.

At the Deerhunter concert this week Bradford pointed out people wearing Atlas Sound shirts and said "maybe it's time to bring that back." Hopefully that means new music and not just shirts.
