My next door neighbor's name is Robert Allen Zimmerman. He constantly plays the guitar. What a weird person.

3rd night in Berlin was a very tight 2-hour set, sound rather heavy blues jam session like, with many songs played from Rough and Rowdy Ways. Only a few "classic" songs which were re-arranged and re-interpreted. No talking to the audience, not even the (four piece) band was introduced. Standing ovations at the end. Quite an experience.

I’m somehow as enamored with his work starting from 89 until he was just doing cover songs. Outside of his most well-known work I don’t stray too deep into the catalog, except for what I could find of his work at the local library and that counts for some of the deeper work I came to appreciate. Movies count for a lot and hearing “Most of the Time” in High Fidelity, hit me deep in my sensitive teens. Could probably go without seeing the movie again honestly for other reasons not worth getting into (my shoutbox is open to questions) but I still love the song.

WHY Timothée Chalamet? lmao I'm sorry but the dude always looks like a sad dog that had been excited about going for a walk only to watch how his owner puts away the leash again

aight he's not a super bad actor or something but there is no way I'll see Dylan when I watch that film, Chalamet just has a far too strong Chalamet vibe :T maybe I'm wrong tho sigh

haven't seen it yet! I got me/cfs so I can watch like 4 movies a month lol:D To not leave u hanging: My letterboxd followed are literally 50 50 in loving and hating it so far though. Joel Haver gave it 1 star and said: "Before the movie is even out we’re being told he deserves a nomination and we just play along with it." lol I'll see it eventually and give it a chance tho.

Can't even steal his style and pretend to be him anymore because people will think I'm copying A Complete Unknown

I have already pretty thoroughly enjoyed Bob Dylan's music but after the release of A Complete Unknown, I fell even more in love with him as an artist and started to dig deeper into his personal life and accomplishments. He is one of if not the best music lyricist of all time. Watching his interviews he's truly one of a kind and has a unique mind that can't really be compared to. I'm glad this movie has pushed his music to more hearts and people can hear the genius of this mad man.

This dude attained deity status in my household growing up, so it only seems fitting that I now undertake a revolt against his wizardry, ala what Nietzsche did to Wagner. Gonna be a tough climb.

I haven’t seen anyone else bring that up but that really bothered me for some reason lol, kind of a strange choice (it’s not like there isn’t swearing in the rest of the movie!)

Loved Dylan for a long time but the movie finally pushed me to start the discography deep dive I've meant to do for years, it’s very exciting

He was godlike growing up, but now there's an inkling to revolt against his iconic status. Suspect it's just an ego trip. At some point, you gotta acquiesce to a certain degree of fate and accept certain figures and events will invariably have an outsized impact on your perspective.

Painter of a nation's evergrowing despair that knows itself to blame. Rifting with the air of God and sweetness within, the sort of character that could only be soldered on history's face. Bob, man. Voice and hands have never expelled caution and grit better. Thank you.
