New album is angular pop brilliance. I think I even like it better (gasp!) than the Delgados albums I have.

I'm thinking of going to see her. Does she play any Delgados songs at all, or is it just the solo suff?

just saw her last night (met her too actually) at the New Pornographers' show in NYC. didn't even know she had split from Delgados. she was really great though. need to give her cd a listen now...

Watch the Fireworks grows on me with every listen. Saw her London at the record release show. Looking fwd. to Philly gig opening for New Pornographers.

Rather strange to hear a whole album by Emma without the Alun Woodward-sung counterpoints. Very good record though.
