Vinicius, lembro disso (inclusive, que dia incrível foi aquele <3) e eles tem postado alguns vlogs no instagram sobre as gravações do novo álbum desde então. Mas não acho que essas músicas são dele, visto que o lançamento é só no ano que vem e ainda não divulgaram mais detalhes. Ruan, que interessante kkkk tinha percebido que eles usaram a melodia de la danse macabre nela e vi agora que a atração do parque tem esse mesmo nome, adorei!

No, I'm not saying that. Yes, it's different, because the production of an album is the result of a work and personal tastes are part of who she, you and I are. Understand, there's no problem in your criticism of her vocal performance, and there wouldn't be if you criticized things like the quality of her lyrics, photos or videos. The problem is in your INSISTENCE on relating her performance in the band to what she likes to do, say, buy or wear — as if she were a robot that exists for a single purpose and that needs to work on it 24 hours a day and do everything perfectly —, when one thing has nothing to do with the other. And still try to convince us that this makes some sense or that she's doing something wrong. She has a life outside the band and she has the right to it. When YOU get this idea of an idol out of your head, you'll conclude the same as us. At the end of the day, she's just an ordinary person who likes to make music. Common sense is understanding this.

And about consumerism, the only difference between buying 50 makeup products and 50 albums is that only one of them is considered "girly stuff", therefore, it is treated as futile. Do you consider yourself superficial for taking care of yourself? I don't think so. So why should she avoid doing the same or even talking about it? If I criticize consumerism, should I really deprive myself of something and live with the bare minimum in a cave making fire with rocks? Exercising critical thinking is good, but do you think that directing so much of your attention to this discussion will lead to any significant change? Well, I hope this is really helping to evolve your mind, because personally I didn't even expect to read the term "metal barbie" in 2024 (I thought we had already overcome this saturated subject). And it's great that you don't drink or smoke, welcome to the team! But how about we stop going around in circles now? You don't even need to answer these questions. So once again, bye!

Vontade de morrer em saber que o álbum novo só vem em 2025, mas eu espero que eles sigam a linha do TAP e experimentem mais ainda e seja completamente diferente dos anteriores, pode até ser mais prog que o RFTI, que coloquem saxofone e o caralho a quatro nas musicas.

I love Epica, especially their first 3 albums and their newest EP, however they never touched me as much as Nightwish or Within Temptation (my 2 favourite female fronted metal bands). I don't know why. Maybe it's Simone's voice. Don't get me wrong - her voice is PERFECT but somehow not as emotional to me as Tarja, Floor or Sharon. Or maybe it's because the songs are so... I dunno. Smooth? Flawless?

For a long time I couldn't appreciate their álbuns but today for me they're better than Nightwish and I'm only comparing them because NW is likely the most famous one into the genre. Epica surpassed everything I heard before, there is no competition at this point.

I think that it takes a certain type of person to truly appreciate Epica... It took me awhile since it was very different then any other Symphonic Metal bands and to me seemed quite strange at first (I also wasn't very big on Death Metal/Harsh Vocals.) But now I absolutely love their music and nothing quite compares, nothing is quite as complex (even within the genre.) and so many of their songs are an absolute masterpiece.
