Sounds like Mories had to strangle a parrot to death in order to get the right tone of the sounds used in "To Rival Death in Beauty".

Nice seeing Prurient in the related artists. Mories is probably the only one to (indirectly) combine Power Electronics with Black Metal.

He and Lars Von Trier should hang out. They even look similar.

I really don't like the new albums. The black metal is out, and weird The Body beats are in. I think there is a good middle ground like the title track to Genocidal Majesty (dear Lord what a great song) but a lot of stuff on the last two "proper" albums just miss. I do like Golden Ashes though so I guess I'll have that.

I just totally fail to find anything enjoyable about this or to see what it has to do with music. What in God's name is going on their head that they would want to make such noises... Quite frankly, I was shocked at what a negative, unpleasant experience it was, listening to this album. I had to take it off long before it reached the end. People actually sit... and... LISTEN... to that crap. maybe, even PAY....PAY!!!! Unbelievable. I wouldn't listen to it again even if you wanted to pay ME! That this noise could give anyone any aesthetic pleasure is beyond my comprehension, truly. Is there any audience for this "noiseblack metal" besides other dudes who play it and maybe their wives who patiently endure it???
