I actually like them with the new singer. The lyrics are much better now and they sound more mature and even a bit heavier. The new song is awesome!

Old Hinder = Much better sound and melodies, new Hinder = better lyrics. 3DG haven't changed much IMO.

I'm just pointing out the fact that new vocalist does not fit in. He sounds so blank to me, it's more like he's talking rather than singing. TDG's first album after adam left the band "human" is so good musicly I liked instrumentals even more than in all releases before but still the vocals sucked. U can't just easliy replace Adam. Not saying Matt is weak, he did good in My Darkest Day. It's so problematic band doesn't look after vocalist who sounds familiar to the original frontman.

I think his voice is ok, but the whole musicstyle sounds different. I completely forgot about Hinder until 2 years ago when Spotify suggested me a new song. I liked it, but I was like - no way that's Hinder! Then I figured out they got a new singer. It's not bad but very different. They should have really changed their name! I didn't notice much difference in 3DG. But maybe the new singer shouldn't try so hard to sound like the old one. To me he also was better in MDD but I don't know why...

Well I decided to listen the whole discography of theirs a few weeks ago (before that i knew just couple of their songs), I like every album with Winkler on vocals, the rest as I said is just blank to me. Well i'm glad that they're still making music, but it's not for me anymore. Maybe the trick with changing their name would work on me :D In new 3DG nothing changed except the vocalist I would even say that they bringed old school sound to the new material in contrast to the sound from Transit To Venus which i hated when it comed out, and now it's one of my fav. Maybe you're right, maybe he shouldn't try to sound so much like Adam, i guess he tried that on Human, it did not work. At least we can still hear Adam's vocals on Saint Asonia material, he's still badass.

I 'd almost forgot about this band until a few days ago when I was looking at the similarities of a band on Spotify.

Notorious Kings of stereotyped Asshole-Rockers... They'd have so much potential, but they hinder themselves. They can never be more than some infamous Party-Guys.

The new album is fantastic. I love the new sound. The darkness gives it an edge, makes it less stupid and makes the emotion hit harder.
