I've been waiting for a guy to come and take me by the hand Could these sensations make me feel the pleasures of another man?

The horror element in Kafka's works lies in a passive, slow consuming dread of reality, only to burst out in the end in the most painful way. And for all I know, Closer is Ian's interpretation of Kafka's style, so ye.

Ian wrote some of the best horror tracks to exist, taking heavy influence from Kafka in Closer, eg: Atrocity Exhibition (the hunger artist), Colony (in the penal colony) and The Eternal (had the running themes of Judgement and Kafka's observations and meditations). I hope he rests in peace, free from his vulnerabilities, paranoia, broken relations and Goethe-esque perspective. And ye, Hooky is the best bass player aside Entwhistle. His bass lines in Decades, These Days and Komakino will remain as a lasting desire to play a bass guitar

I wish Ian he got to see how deeply meaningful his lyrics were to his fans. I also wish people were there for him when he wrote them... "Surrendered to self preservation from others who care for themselves a blindness that touches perfection but hurts just like anything else..."

Those "reimagined" music videos are now on Spotify. It's like a cancer that won't go away.

I'm back to seeking comfort in Joy Division again because that's what I did years ago when I felt sad :')

there was someone think they were named alicepilled who said "they'll have more jd plays than me one day" and which they do now, which. good job. I don't really like these guys anymore, but it's cause I don't listen to them that much anymore.
