Ian wrote some of the best horror tracks to exist, taking heavy influence from Kafka in Closer, eg: Atrocity Exhibition (the hunger artist), Colony (in the penal colony) and The Eternal (had the running themes of Judgement and Kafka's observations and meditations). I hope he rests in peace, free from his vulnerabilities, paranoia, broken relations and Goethe-esque perspective. And ye, Hooky is the best bass player aside Entwhistle. His bass lines in Decades, These Days and Komakino will remain as a lasting desire to play a bass guitar

I wish Ian he got to see how deeply meaningful his lyrics were to his fans. I also wish people were there for him when he wrote them... "Surrendered to self preservation from others who care for themselves a blindness that touches perfection but hurts just like anything else..."
