Khruangbin’s second record was recorded in one week on a farm in Texas. According to guitarist Mark Seer, “if we spent longer on the songs, they wouldn’t be what they are. What the album ends up reflecting is a time capsule of what we created in that bubble.” The album marks a departure from the strictly instrumental style of their previous works.
