It irks me that she's referred to as a one-hit wonder sometimes. She was such a force in the late 2000s/early 2010s pop scene. The debut and Trouble in Paradise are two of the best synthpop albums from around that time. In For The Kill, Quicksand, I'm Not Your Toy, Cover My Eyes, Uptight Downtown, Sexotheque, Kiss and Not Tell, Let Me Down Gently, so many bangers. Not to mention, she gave DJs like Skrillex and Skream a lot of great remix material. Although I'm not too keen on her newer stuff, I can't deny that she definitely had an influence on some of the current pop artists of today.

Ben barely worked on Trouble in Paradise. He left during the early stages of production and Ian Sherwin took over.

supervision was a bit disappointing but honestly i think with a bit better production and kept at like 4 tracks it would be quite solid. i hope another album happens

Supervision is so underrated. It and Trouble In Paradise are better than debut (which is still great)

So nostalgic for lastfm. I remember when her debut came out and when it was the best of list on here or something. I was about to start college. Gosh take me tf back to that time
