Manolo Escobar is a famous Spanish singer, famous for Que viva España (which sold 6 million of copies). He was born on October 19, 1932 in the city of El Ejido in the province Almería. His recordings, which also include songs such as “La Morena de Mi Copla”, “¡Ay Caridad!”, “Madrecita María del Carmen” and “Mi Pequeña Flor”, have been re-issued on numerous nostalgia compilations. Escobar also appeared in movies, among them “Los Guerilleros” (1963).
