Verisäkeet (Blood Verses in English) is Moonsorrow's fourth full-length album. It was released on February 23, 2005 through Spinefarm Records. It was recorded in September 2004 in Tico Tico studio and partly in The Stable; and mastered at Finnvox Studios. Guest musicians who contributed to the album include Janne Perttilä ( Barren Earth ), Jaakko "Hittavainen" Lemmetty (ex- Korpiklaani ) and Kuuraparta Frostheim (ex- Poropetra ). The album artwork was done by Tero Salonen.

Moonsorrow is a pagan metal band formed in Helsinki, Finland, in 1995. Musically, the band incorporates elements of black metal and folk metal in their sound.
