God's Son is the sixth studio album by hip-hop artist Nas. It was released on December 13, 2002 by Columbia and Ill Will Records. It reached #12 on the Billboard 200, and obtained a platinum certification from the RIAA a month after it was released. The album was partly inspired by Nas' mother, Ann Jones, who died of breast cancer in early 2002.
