I came across his music when I heard someone talking about Muscle Up on the radio and how they'd got hold of the original tapes. All I can say is that he died far too young and we can only wonder what he might have created if he'd lived.

The Dark Entries compilations are so vital because they showcase a Tangerine Dream-y side of Cowley that wasn't present on his 80's albums. Great exploratory synth music

I can only imagine what direction he'd head in if he were allowed to live beyond 1982. I really think he would've made a huge impact. RIP ♥︎

Pat was the best at his time. with any little doubt. Even today nobody can make Synt-solos like he did. Unforttunately we must realise that nobody can take his part in Dance-Music and nobody influenced the Dance music like him (and Bobby Orlando) Respect Pat....and RiP - your Music is sill alive and wonderful. The only thing which makes me wonder, what music he mad between 83-2000.....

the pioneer - the genious. listen his remixes of donna summer "i feel love", and tantra "hills of kathmandu". that time only a genious could transform a hippie into a techno-freak.
