I saw them last night at fenway park. They were awesome.

don't be like me and sleep on their newer stuff, it's definitely not everyone's taste (and that's understandable), but at least give it a shot, i used to only listen to their first three albums, but i've found that there's a lot to be had from their stuff afterwards, even going into lightning bolt and gigaton.

PJ is when you go to rehab after too much AIC. Yes, you can still enjoy cigarrettes, drink coffee and mild beer some days but thats about it. Your brains are mushed and desires to get back to the old dirty mattress to do hard drugs and living in vain while trying to remember why did you quit.

вот вот эти челы настругали 12 альбомов, а их хоть кто-то слушал все? меня честно хватило на 3 только. я лично готов из хлеба медаль слепить и подарить человеку, который все 12 сможет выслушать и при этом потом сможет определить какие песни из какого хоть периода. но вообще если без гундежа - синглы с первого альбома ОЧЕНЬ хороши. особенно блэк, которую я услышал еще в средней школе, когда был влюблен безответно в девочку с каре. поэтому строчка про звезду в чьем-то чужом небе до сих пор до слез сука(99(99(((9(((( он еще в анплагде стонать и выть начинает как ебанутый, так что тоже жизненно и респект короче ему, не помню как вокалиста зовут, уэддл уиддл, в любом случае хорош мужик.

Despite the plastic sound of the new album, there was hope in the first four tracks that now that same “return” would happen. But this, unfortunately, did not happen. P.S. ...but I really liked the panning of the guitars in the first two tracks.

Anyone else feel like they released two of the weakest songs as singles? They're not bad, but for sure not two of my favorite songs off the album

Looks like they returning to their old sound, Gigaton was much more experimental (to me) and i like that album too. But new album feels much more them. It's good to listen new stuff from these guys again.

Dark Matter supposedly promised to be Pearl Jam's best in nearly two decades based on some reviews I read. After listening to it, it seems to me to be one of their worst albums, if not the worst, as was I assumed when listening to the previous singles. Rock to please nostalgic fifty-somethings that feels like food reheated in the microwave. I mean, there are some good songs and it's nice that McCready has more ease in the recording, but nothing memorable that will encourage you to listen to the album over and over again. I'll give him more chances, btw. I prefer Gigaton right now even though it's a pretty mediocre album for me. P.S.: I'm a big fan of PJ and EV. They are one of these important bands in my life (beyond their first albums), but I think that in the studio they no longer have anything to say.
