Saw them live last Saturday in Santiago, Chile. It's probably the best live performance I have ever seen. Jarvis Cocker is one hell of a frontman; it was like watching a play.

The only proper PULP that matters is: Jarvis, Russell, Candida, Steve & Nick. Anything else (including the addition of Mark Webber) is false. And I'd fight anyone who disagrees. Not many 'indie' bands can beat that run from 1988-1994.

    Ha! I don't know really... I fell in love with Pulp in the very early 90's when he wasn't a member and as time has passed it's that era of Pulp (88-94) that I always go back to. At the time I loved Different Class & especially This is Hardcore, but that Jarvis/Russell/Candida/Steve/Nick line-up really did nothing wrong. Impeccable music that was one of a kind - I guess they seemed to get more 'traditional' after that.
