Sahara Surfers

rather sad i've only just discovered this band hidden in the deepest deep's of bandcamp, interesting mixture of stoner/desert rock and alternate rock, still sounds good a decade on from 'spacetrip on a paper plane' (love the title).

The vocals are exactly what i like with this band, at least something different in stoner. I don't know what are you on about.

I rate this band, the vocals are not disappointing (unlike some other space rock bands). The riffs are great, so overall for the band I'm standing with Oakshield on that. Yeah, gas on!!!!

Like? name some? Because i do enjoy this band allot more, than say the first 6 similar artists. Because of the voice and there songs. They arn't like lots of stoner bands who indeed sound similar to each other. Sahara surfers stand out, they make good songs

Vocals seem to hit or miss... But for the most part, I like them. Pretty good stuff

Nice enough music, if nothing special. And since everyone has an opinion on the vocals: I find them slightly dispassionate, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but a few emotional explosions might do their sound a world of good.

The vocals is exactly what was disappointing about this band. Flat and eventually boring. The music is ok, some nice riffs, but not special in any way. With more dynamic and extrovert vocals this would have been a decent band.

just downloaded their both albums from last.fm...really great, unique sound, especially the (female!) voice is very cool...maybe a little bit like placebos' mr.molko...

Very cool band, and unique sound. One of the few bands i'd listen where i think the vocals add something.

"Spacetrip On A Paper Plane" is very good. I have big expectations for what will follow..
