New album feels like it's mixed or produced in a way that doesn't showcase these songs like they should. I believe they self-produced Need to Feel Your Love which is nice and loud with a lot of dynamism. A Distant Call was fine, not as good as NTFYL but it sounded the same. These songs feel muted even though they might be a better group of songs than A Distant Call. Idk...

I was waiting a long time for a new album and I was a bit disappointed because the songs and ideas seem interesting but the production and even some of the songwriting seems without the previous passion and joy. Of course they deserve more listening opportunities, but I don't know, something didn't quite fit here even though most of the reviews I've read praise it.

truly disappointing when the songs are good but feels lacking because of musical or production choices. you never know what you're going to get when a band that started more lofi/garage-y gets bigger.

I really like this band, and I haven't even listened to those eps that guys who are declared stans are into. I'll come back when I listen to them eps. Great singer, nicely distorted guitars and some inspired moments, songs, they mastered a style at the expense of originality, I don't care, I like it.
