  Now, obviously, neither Sheer Mag nor Sunflower Bean are tapping into an original sound, so hear me out: There weren't a lot of bands trying to do the whole 70's powerpop revival and Sheer Mag went full in on it. Seems like Sunflower Bean have chosen to follow suit. I'm not mad at all!

  I'd also like to add that while Pitchfork seems to strangely have this pegged as Hole worship, it actually sounds more like HAIM turned into a rock band. (So, Jenny Lewis's album The Voyager?) Either way, it's not Hole lol.

"I Was A Fool" is one of the greater things I found recently. Whoa, great stuff, really awakes this feeling of longing to old times, where I've never lived in, but it was such great atmosphere in music.
