Love the new album. I remember underestimating Dragonslayer back in the day and it's not happening again. A kind of magic that Krug can only access while inside of this creative force with these other great artists. It's so good and haunting and dramatic and weird and isn't that what Sunset Rubdown is all about?

Incredible follow-up to Dragonslayer that lives up to the band’s legacy. I like that it has its own identity rather than trying to emulate the band’s previous albums. Really love it. We’re so back.

oh 100%, I was just worried that it'd try to sound too much like their 2000s output and fall flat. glad that wasn't the case (although I would not be opposed to another album that sounded like dragonslayer tbh).
