"White Light from the Mouth of Infinity" is the seventh album by American experimental rock band Swans. It was released on June sixth, 1991. The album was out of print until it was reissued in a box set on Young God Records, along with their eighth studio album: "Love Of Life" in December 2015. although all but two of the songs appear on the compilation "Various Failures". The two songs not included there, "Power and Sacrifice" & "Song for the Sun", are on the compilation "Forever Burned". The cover art is a painting by Deryk Thomas.

Swans are an American experimental rock band from New York, United States, active from 1982 to 1997, reformed in 2010, led by singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Michael Gira. Marginally associated with the no wave scene at first, their original sound was slow and extremely heavy, with live performances that were often so brutal and physical that in a number of instances certain audience members were made ill, police were called and venues were shut down.
