Last Splash is the second album by indie rock band The Breeders, released in August 1993. Pixies bassist Kim Deal formed the band as a side project. Last Splash was the band's most successful album, certified Platinum by the RIAA for selling more than one million copies. The title of the album is taken from a lyric of its lead single, "Cannonball". This single has been used in many movie trailers, including Dude, Where's My Car? and South Park. A looped guitar sample of the song "S.O.S." was used by The Prodigy in their 1996 hit single "Firestarter".
