I love Waiting For The Winter. It's simple and beautiful. That's what I call indie pop.

Any fans out there might want to check out the (legit) live tape made by the band and given away at one of their gigs which has been turned into an mp3 and put on Indie MP3: http://www.indie-mp3.co.uk/2006/09/popguns.html It's a bit feedbacky in places but still pretty good. What's most surprising is the quality of Wendy's voice which is as good live as in the studio.

Anyone out there able to provide me with a nice quality MP3 for Gesture. It's my favorite song by them but I only have it on tape.

Yep, they're another one - one of the five best British indie bands of the late 80s and 90s, that is. Never saw 'em live - I don't think they ever got closer to Wales than Newport (Salop), but a great band on record. Check out single b-side Gesture for a really underrated track, and of course the sublime Where Do You Go?
