I totally forgot that band existed. And after listening to "Contraband" I remembered.

it's too bad Scott is no longer around, otherwise he could have hooked up with Buckethead and the rest of the subsitute GnR members.

I totally forgot about this band. Libertad is probably one of the last physical CD's I ever purchased back in the day.

I liked this more than STP, RIP.

thompsonjohn, indeed. Kennedy is good vocalist but he sucks bad as frontman, at my opinion. He is too proper and correct (He will be perfect fit with some kind of christian band). Weiland is a fucking "junkie hurricane" on the stage (and I love it so much), one of the few last greatest frontmen of the last decade! VR were a real super-rock band: 2 my favourite bands combined at one. I hate a-la modern days super-rock collaborations like Winery Dogs and etc., but VR had definitely good ol' r'n'r spirit and did all they can fuckin' good. Miss them!

Isn't it just sad Scott had to fuck this up like he does in every other band? I mean Slash, Matt Sorum and Duff had actually finally found a GOOD worthy successor to Guns N' Roses, that was a solid rock and roll band, and Scott goes and fucks it up. I guess Slash has finally been happy again with his solo band feat. Miles Kennedy that he's been with for a few years now, but they're no Velvet Revolver. I wish Scott would get his act together and go back to double duty in STP and Velvet Revolver, but it seems everyone associated with those bands have all moved on.

Slash has probably already thought about it but I reckon Chris Cornell would make an awesome fit, if he wasn't busy.

I still like them. Even if Scott was a dick, as they said in few interviews, I wish they will reunite and maybe release new album.

Slash is the reason why I listen to this band ;) Came to the conslusion today that I do not often enough listen to Velvet Revolver.... What a great band
