I think it's quite good. There is a lot of orchestral influence on this album, which I'm really enjoying. The tracks kind of blend together which makes for a nice listen on a whole-album level, but makes it difficult to get strong impressions about individual tracks at first. Hence the many listens ;) If you're ever interested in getting into Radiohead, I believe the album Kid A is considered to be their most electronic-y.

90K! I didn't even notice! Thanks! On a related note, do you know how I can get email notifications of shouts, messages, etc.? This new site is making me late to the party!

Oof, I am only now getting back to you about my thoughts on the new site! Relatedly, one change I don't like is how there are no longer email notifications when someone leaves you a shout (although maybe this is something that can be changed in settings?). Also, I don't like how the last.fm radio is channeled through Spotify now instead of Youtube. I used to listen to their stations occasionally but now it's a pain since I don't have a Spotify account. I feel like site navigation is kind of clunky but the general appearance of the site is alright, I guess. I guess my opinions are mostly negative, but maybe it's just my resistance to change.

Thanks! It's hard to believe that my play count for [track artist=regina spektor]baobabs[/track] is approaching yours for [track artist=caural]nonart[/track]! To be fair, Baobabs is a very short song. I saw your post on [group]Pistachio Island[/group]. If you feel so inclined to drop it to me, I would like to listen to [album artist=lukid]onandon[/album]. My new email associated with Dropbox is jstauffer@ucsd.edu. P.S. I've never used markup to link to pages on last.fm before...let's see if I did it right!

I've just discovered that I kind of like Jaga Jazzist. Any other recommendations given this epiphany?

You should check your scrobbling history. It looks like you're having some issues of multiple simultaneous scrobbles.

I haven't listened to Bricolage in a while, but I remember liking Stoney Street. Just gave it another listen and I really like it. I'm listening to the album again now.

Greetings! I hope you are doing well! I'm very pleased to now announce the release of four brand-spanking-new [artist]Dual Echelon[/artist] tracks, forming part of my next full-length release, [album artist=Dual Echelon]Surfaces[/album]. They are: 1) [track artist=Dual Echelon]Heart[/track] 2) [track artist=Dual Echelon]Strong Force[/track] 3) [track artist=Dual Echelon]Closely[/track] 4) [track artist=Dual Echelon]Fridge[/track]. These new tracks are still heavily based around various recorded and found sounds, but the overall approach is more dense, layered and rough compared to my previous album, [album artist=Dual Echelon]Audionary[/album]. It would be great if you could give them a listen and let me know what you think! All the best, Will (-:

As of late (~3 months), Geogaddi is my favorite BoC album. I always end up reading about the Branch Davidians, though, which is sort of depressing/disturbing. I absolutely love Dawn Chorus, but I enjoy listening from I Saw Drones to the end if I'm not going to listen to the whole album. Julie and Candy, 1969, and Gyroscope are a few of my favorites. I personally think it's BoC's best because MHTRTC can drag towards the end, and TCH doesn't seem to have as clear of a direction as Geogaddi. It also features Leslie Nielsen which gives it 12839 bonus points. It has my favorite cover art (close, though). Also, it is less hip-hop beat driven, which adds a little spice. The backstories to the song titles are cool, too. In the end, though, it all comes down to the swelling noise in Dawn Chorus... beautiful. Also, I am ashamed it took me so long to listen to Lukid. I personally like him more than FlyLo (as far as instrumental hip-hop artists is concerned). And 1000 characters.. now!
