Hahaa, even though I have Katy Perry in my top 5?! Brave man. Yes I was there, very, very good... I was at the front and (not meaning to sound like a groupie) he handed me his water bottle and I got the set list, so I was very proud of myself! I saw them at the concorde 2 a couple of years ago and love the fact you can actually dance at their gigs. Yes, Delphic were great I thought, I've never seen them before, but was suitably impressed, nice paring with Phoenix what with their new even more synthy sound. I'll try to stop sounding like a geek now. Very jealous you're seeing Passion Pit. Hmmm.

Hello, could you please fix the art work over at the official wipE'out" game soundtrack here http://www.last.fm/music/Various+Artists/Wipeout as it is somethin completely unrelated. The proper art is here at wikipedia... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wipeout_(album) Thanks! :)

i think the fact i was attempting to throw myself down a hill in an ikea bag might have been the reason for the utter failing. oh well.. no idea where kenilworth is. that being said, i don't know where most places in england are. i'm from the delightful north of ireland. i can just about identify london on a map! i agree entirely. the EPs are much better. the cats&cats&cats split is super. might go see them at the lexington later this month. i'll probably go if i'm around london. would love to see colour & pennines. have heard a few of their tracks and i'm liking!

Thank you so much for the recommendations. All bands I've heard at some point, but then happily forgot all about. Can't let that happen again. I really hope you get the chance to listen to Marzipan Marzipan, feel free to get back to me whenever. I really hope I'm not the only one who likes it so much!

so i especially like first aid kit's cover of fleet foxes, and ra ra riot (im a sucker for anything with a string section evidently). the thing is im trying not to be illegal and download music anymore but i have no money for cd buying so all i have to go by is myspace and this thing. have you listened to the rocking horse winner, sia, or the format? i think these are more up your street than my previous suggestions. this game of recommendations could go on forever. x

You're perfectly right. I saw that, and I felt like I should be listening to more Minus the Bear while looking at what you've heard. Denmark is very grey and nearly depressing today - please tell me it's better over there? Marzipan Marzipan is a one-woman thing by an italian woman currently (if not always) located in Berlin. It's very, very beautiful, and gets way too little attention. If you are interested I would recommend The Love Song, The Island and Glory-Ah. Small pieces of perfection if you ask me! She's on the Danish label SOPA, which is also the home of quite a few other great artist. Really something special. Feel free to recommend anything, I have a feeling telling me I would probably like it.

my thermometer claims it is 5 degrees here in michigan...so yes, i'd say it gets painfully cold. as far as the glove comment: http://www.absolutemichigan.com/include/maps/michigan_lower_peninsula.gif (maybe more like mitten?). your travel plans look exciting...when does this adventure take place? i'm really close to chicago so i could meet you there for coffee...i'm always looking for excuses to travel. here are a few of my favorite songs at the moment: http://favtape.com/ilanila8/collecting+my+soul enjoy.

absolutely correct yes. i have an exam coming up and I'm meant to revise but have somehow managed instead today to... well, not. i did have some lovely soup earlier though so it's swings and roundabouts! (covent garden winter soup if youre curious). i never went to whistler but i know someone who did a ski season there and loved it. as for a crazy canadian act... hmm, tough one. stars, hidden cameras, toyko police club, final fantasy, crystal castles, destroyer. i'd recommend all these if you've not already listened to them. currently (quite literally as you can see) i am listening to yeasayer, these were supported by MGMT when i saw them so they're pretty good too. not canadian though. x

ah, mine says we are now 'low', i thought perhaps your musical tastes had secretly changed in a drastic way. glad to hear this is not the case. alopecia is a very good album but i much prefer the previous one elephant eyelash. i saw them in montreal in a cute little town hall type venue, it was one of my canada highlights! my christmas was good but yes it didnt feel quite right without having to dig a passageway out of my back door through the snow. luckily my mum's roast dinner made up for most of that. whereabouts is your bro going in canada? hopefully the east, it's where all the cool kids hang out and Quebec is only an 8 hour bus journey away from NYC! x

hey ed, must say I approve of all the why? you're listening to. how's it going, was your christmas fun? anyway, as you are a last.fm staff member I feel compelled to complain that my compatibilities are all over the place, apparently now i am low compatibility with everyone, this makes me feel very lonely. well i hope everything is ok with you. x

It's not that rare, but not a wide release. It's not deep cuts, the album is just called "the knife"
