We're going down despite my FOB binge. It could be for that very reason; I theorise that high compatibility ratings are based on the proportion of a listener's plays a given band takes up. Also: listen to Simon Bookish.

My BBC Radio 4 and Interpol scrobbles stay pretty consistent most weeks, and I listen to your crazy modern hipster bands occasionally too. I understand your surprise, though, given that post-punk is our only interlinking genre.

And now for the only thing I use this service for: gauging whether or not I'm cool by checking our compatibility level. It's on a decline. How can you bear to listen to Datarock songs so frequently? Their beats aren't zesty; they're cloying.

Oh it seems our compatibility is somewhat on the way down. We're only very high these days. x

High! High! Score! Which is funny, because our top fifteens have almost nothing in common. This is all that Last.FM is for, isn't it?

haha not sure why that is...think it's because it's taken the play counts from itunes. Also, musical compatibility...SUPER. x

Oh hel-lo :) Great to see another Uni-d00d on Last.fm! AAC eh? I have a few of my 'favourite' and 'must-listen' albums in FLAC/AAC encoding, but generally it's too space consuming- especially considering that the average PC sound system doesn't show a discernable difference in quality. Do you have a decent sound-system with you at Uni? I brought a 5.1 surround sound and a premium sound-card, but that's as well as I could do for my accommodation :P.
