RED SNAPPER release their new album 'Hyena' on September 15th 2014 on Lo Recordings - An album inspired by the band’s recent soundtrack for cult 70s Senegalese road movie "Touki Bouki" - the first independent African film which was recently restored by Martin Scorcese and which is first and foremost an afro-funk odyssey in itself. A psychedelic Afrofunk journey deep into the band's dark waters...
This promises to be their best album in a decade, a timeless, African influenced album which has as much to do with the future as it has the past. The intimate showcase marks a unique opportunity for fans to hear exclusive new material. and the energetic live performance that they’re known for.
