Description
Not sure about the details of this (there were leaflets in Coffee Republic), but it seems to be a small festival on the Rye...somebody better warn the stoners and drunken pyromaniac kids in Superman tshirts that live there. It's in aid of the Big Issue. Selection of performers, tickets are £20 (Nurses get in free though), four stages, DJs, bars, etc. See www.peoplesfestival.co.uk for more details. The leaflet calls it 'a beautiful day for beautiful people'...well, we'll see...watch out for the swans and empty cans.
