Kang Daniel (born December 10, 1996 in Busan, South Korea) is a South Korean singer under KONNECT Entertainment. He is a former member of the South Korean boy group Wanna One. He is best known for finishing first in the second season of Mnet's reality show PRODUCE 101 Season 2, with a total of 1,578,837 votes, being declared as the overall winner in the show's final broadcast, and was given the center position of Wanna One.
Born as Kang Eui-geon (강의건), he legally changed his name due to his family and relatives having difficulty pronouncing his birth name.
