Jiyeon (지연) is a mononym of Seoul, South Korean idol / singer / model / actress Park Ji-yeon (박지연, b. 7 Jun 1993). She is best known as a member of girl group T-ara (티아라) with which she debuted in 2009.
On 28 March it was announced that Jiyeon would start promoting on 20 May with her first solo single 1분 1초. The single peaked at 17 on the Korean charts but did very well in China, breaking a record on YinYueTai by being the first Korean song to achieve a score of 99.50.
