Devon Hendryx is a music project from JPEGMAFIA, taking inspiration from the cloud rap and vaporwave scenes. Over the years, Devon has released projects on his Bandcamp page like THE GHOST~POP TAPE and DREAMCAST SUMMER SONGS. After THE GHOST~POP TAPE, Devon threatened suicide and went off the radar of his small fanbase. 2 years later, he started over as JPEGMAFIA, with the communist slow jams mixtape.
In 2022, an anonymous user made an archive page with Devon Hendryx's songs, which weren't on streaming services at the time. Devon himself mentioned on Twitter that he plans to remaster his albums under this alias and release them on streaming services officially. In 2023, he claimed the archive page for himself and uploaded a remastered version of THE GHOST~POP TAPE along with the original versions of JOECHILLWORLD and DREAMCAST SUMMER SONGS. In 2024, 2 unofficial uploads were made to the page, one of which was an earlier version of JOECHILLWORLD which led to JOECHILLWORLD's removal from streaming when it was removed. Devon Hendryx's music is available officially on Bandcamp.
