Black Cherry is to Goldfrapp as Plunge is to Fever Ray. Both great yet so different and still inferior compared to their respective debuts.

Can't believe I refused to give this album a chance because Wikipedia said "genre: Electroclash/synthpop" and I was too hipster for that kind of ****! this is basically electronic music turned into art. the first album of its kind that I can say I have liked (never mind loved). kudos to Goldfrapp for winning someone as pigheaded as me over with their quality music. true artists.

One thing that bothers me about this cover is how photoshopped Alison's right arm looks...[2]

... as a Felt Mountainite, I must admit this doesn't start promisingly. I just hope it turns out good by the end.

hot, sexy and epic album. Their best among electronic-ones (Black Cherry, Supernature and Head First)

Listening to this album again, and it remains my favourite Goldfrapp album. I cannot see how ANYBODY can call this their worst album. I thought Supernature was a mess tbh, some decent songs but most of it was pretty forgettable. I think the arrangements in this album are beautiful and fantastic, especially in Deep Honey.

The first two albums are definetely their best. Can´t really decide which is on top...they´re both quite different.
