"Last Hope" is a song written by Hayley Williams after the departure of the Farro brothers from the band. The lyrics describes going through difficult times but having faith that it'll pass and come out better than ever and the "Hope" being a thing that keeps you going in hard times for Hayley it was the band and fans that kept her going.
In an interview in 102.7 in New York, Williams says:
"I called and I was like, ‘Man, we just wrote this song, I think it’s like, I think this song is our purpose.’ I feel like the reason our band has lasted this long is so we can write a song like this."
