haha yeah i can see that you do. it's funny though here where i am from, i'm the only one who listens to it. people expect me to listen to rap or whatever, while i can dig that too, it's not what i listen to the most. it's funny how people assume what my music taste is based on my skin color (i'm pakistani)

oh sweet! haha their newest album is really cool, albeit very short. plus i like how the closing track features the old vocalist, it's perfect. anyway hands like houses play post-hardcore music! they're a great addition to the scene. they're from australia. they did a song with jonny craig and tyler carter in the same song. here's the song, it's called lion skin. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrLXXlLKzAc (2011) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9XnrOad6mM (2013) their 2013 album is my favorite so far.. they're releasing a new album in february, not really into the two singles they released but the third one is good. here is the one i'm talking about. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NSIf7F7uMQ (2016)

that particular song from the album you just sent is dope too! i should listen to that album as soon as i am done with all these playlists. and i actually caught a day to remember at that same mini-fest! they were the main band. everyone was there just for them. shit got wild when they played.they did take like 45 minutes to get ready when they were supposed to start performing, and i had to catch the last train home so i couldnt stay for the whole set. i rarely go to gigs. 2011/2012 me would've killed to see nfg live hahaha. i had like over 20k nfg plays but i deleted them bc of the multiple date stamps. i mean its definitely accurate, but i dont like the way it looks. in 2010-2012 i'd play music nonstop, mostly pop punk bands so i had a shitton of plays. and then id manually scrobble them from my ipod.

haha yeah i didnt like my bloody valentine at first either but i started liking it a couple of weeks ago and i'm in search of nice shoegaze bands and dream pop bands. thats the new genre im obsessing over. would be sweet to find a male fronted dream pop band. you know. mixing it with post rock. and indie. and then with nice vox that isn't too loud and not too overpowered by the layers of twinkly instrumentals . can you imagine some r&b vocals in a dream pop band? man that'd be insane.

although ive pretty much grown out of unclean vox when it comes to new bands, this is actually enjoyable. are they on spotify? btw you should look into shoegaze, not sure if youre gonna like it but i love it personally. examples of shoegaze would be "only shallow" by my bloody valentine (1991) and "melatonin" by silversun pickups (2006)

hahah expect a thank you note in your mailbox in a couple of days then. what bands would you recommend me? also have you seen the way the new last.fm looks like? here's a couple of pics. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/83znqcsy67st8y6/AABZViBPdRaYRoruwK5n39W2a?dl=0#/ i think its not bad but i dont like the way you're able to navigate through tracks/albums/artists and that they show just 5 artists instead of 8 with 2x4 rows.

alright got it. and uh, not sure what you're looking for but you should check out bedlight-... (i just scrolled down to check and i see i already rec'd this) uh... have you listened to the jazz june's newest record yet? reminds me of the kind of emo dads (the band) play. definitely check out issues' diamond dreams ep (just acoustic cleans, no screams etc) maybe you'll like some early 2000s (or mid) pop punk.. check out cauterize's so far from real (it's a record).. check out new pianos become the teeth if you havent already. transit's joyride is a great new record too. gates' bloom & breathe is a swell record as well. not sure if you're big on that kind of emo though. oh and definitely check out the appleseed cast. one of my all time faves. they've changed their sound quite a bit so see what you dig the most. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x6IOdBCeias https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKHp-kCiiD0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNGHI_P27nY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SUQlAgaqmVA
