Sorry if this shout suddenly shows up twice, but Last.fm seems to let people "reply" in thin air without passing it on. Anyway, I was glad of a chance to see Róisín Murphy live, mostly with 'Hairless Toys' — she has a great wit. One of the true originals. I adore Elysian Fields partly because Jennifer is so sexy but mainly because I like to hear bands evolve and change, which they and Metric do very well. Yet they stay true to themselves, though some people don't think so.

Good Lord, maybe you can tell me what 'Take Her Up to Monte' is about (just kidding, but still impressed as a big Róisín Murphy fan)! Your Fiona Apple binge is also impressive. You're the first person I've "met" in ages with whom I'm super compatible, though I don't push my classical music listening up to Last.fm — I guess you won't mind if I explore your library. I'd given up "shouting" at anyone since the horrible overhaul of this site made it more commercial and far less friendly, but today I'm glad to "meet" you. ☺️ One more follower...

Hey, remember that site that displayed a list of the last fm users who had the most scrobbles for an artist? I sent a page to that site once to you for your old profile to help you remember what your top artists were when you were making your new profile. I can't remember the name for that site or find it anywhere. (I hope it's still up) Also, I don't think that Obscuremeter was it, but a different site alltogether.

Yo Telex/Sexyjac, long time no talk. Hey I wanted to ask you if you've ever heard of the French pop singer Najoua Belyzel? I wasn't able to get into her music but perhaps you'd like her music. I am searching for a similar artist like her that sings in French and has a powerful voice and that has great production and cool synth beats to her music but I've come up completely empty handed..there's just no other artists quite like her.

it's always nice when pop is inspired and Ronika's debut undoubtedly is. particularly when there's a sense of humour to go with it. probably the most fun ive had with a pop LP since Charli XCX's debut admittedly if a bit more blithe. and it's definitely more disco house with mammoth pop sensibilities as opposed to the other way around. ha, i'm in the same territory. ish. nobody in Glasgow has heard of them unless you're floating about a record shop cradling a copy of Words and Music (i may or may not do this weekly). lapping up Roisin Murphy's return too. i found a copy of Overpowered on double coloured vinyl last year in London's Berwick St. and may have gotten a little overexcited. what a find.

Yeah he hasn't collaborated with any other artists alone that I know of. Also if you haven't heard Cola boy yet..it's Saint Etienne under another name doing a club track with another talented singer Janey Lee Grace from 1991. I like 7 ways to love, cool rhythm and keyboard part! Basically they first did a version with Sarah Cracknell but it couldn't be used for contract reasons with Sarah's label at the time, so Sarah seeked out her friend Janey L Grace to cover the vocals for her. Sorry if I already shared this with you before, cause I don't remember if I did or not. Oh bytheway, very cool avatar! You know I'm not a Annie fan but I still love it! Probably one of the coolest made gif avi's on last fm..did you make it yourself (from one of her videos)?

You sure have built up on your new new profile quite nicely! :-) Found a recent band that you might like called "Kisses, who on some songs have Pete Wigs of Saint Etienne co-producing their music. Like on "Funny heartbeat".
