There are atleast four bands called +1: (1) a cut & paste band, (2) a swedish synhtpop band from the 80s.

+1 (1) is a cut 'n' paste based project.
Their goal is to make expressive creations that includes major, basic copyrighted aspects of one or more preexisting works, meaning the unauthorized use of material which is covered by copyright law, in a manner that violates one of the original copyright owner's exclusive rights.
+1 (2) is a swedish 80s synthpop band made up of Ulf Alvedahl (aka Hull Alvvalley), Thomas Larsson, Thoth, Caj Ehrling and Magnus Wahl (aka Bonk Wahl).
They had three hit songs on the swedish Trackslistan charts in '85-'86
They released one album called Young Europeans in 1985 and the singles (I Don't Want To Be Left Alone) Tonight, Nevermore (with varied mixes and b-sides) and Young Europeans (7"). They only resurfaced on a few retrospective collections again in the 90s.
+1 (3 - …) are little known.
