鬱P (Utsu-P, with the kanji 鬱/Utsu meaning depression in Japanese,) produces metal Vocaloid music. His first work was uploaded in early 2008 on Niconico. Initially, his songs exclusively featured Miku, but other voicebanks such as Rin and GUMI appear in his later works.
He is known for making Vocaloids perform shouts, screams, and grunts through the use of filters and effects, and his melodies generally have a heavy bassline. Aside from that, his lyrics often are somewhat complex, their hidden meanings difficult to grasp at first glance.
