Hyperballad" is a song by Icelandic musician Björk. It was released in 1995 as the fourth single from her second solo album, Post. The song was written by Björk and co-produced by Nellee Hooper. It blends folktronica, acid house, and synth-pop.
"Hyperballad" is a hypnotic mix of acid house and folktronica, with Björk's unmistakable voice and fantastical narrative. It still sounds cutting-edge and futuristic even today, a rare accomplishment for a 90s production.
"Hyperballad" received the most votes in a survey of Björk fans about which songs should be included on her 2002 Greatest Hits album.
