Got nothing against Blackstar the metal band. I mean Carcass is like one of my all time favorite bands, but DAMN the fucking Ragga Jungle artist is amazing. Really mindblowing stuff imo. Don't listen to a ton of Jungle or Electronic music in general, so this really is opening new doors for me :)

Swansong >>> Barbed Wire Soul by a long shot. Luckily Ken and Jeff spun it off into a side project instead of deciding it was Carcass's new direction.

the spotify page for this is an absolute hilarious mess lmao. you look at the top tracks and you go "oh its old school jungle" but the artist description is talking about a short-lived metal band and then you look at the recent releases and its a rap single called "dogshit" with the guy from my hero academia on the art

I Listen to both metal and rap. They're both complete different to each other it's like comparing eating a sandwich to reading a book or comparing watching sesame street to watching A siberian Film (look it up.) :D

Actually, there some bands who mixed metal with hip-hop. (i.e.: Stuck Mojo, 311, etc ) Think they’re not antagonist.

The description clearly denotes which band is referenced here. It's rather sad so many of the people commenting here are from developed nations and yet they can't even read a few simple sentences before spouting their ignorance.

Rap and Metal, two hated cultures against eachother... Who will win? Only time will tell. Potheads vs. stupids.

The real one is neither rap nor metal. It's the C64 remix one :-). And seriously, a metal band called "Blackstar"? I like metal as much as the next guy, but how cliché can you get? Here's another one for you: "Deathfist". Or "Hellhammer".... actually, I might hold on to that one. The hip hop one at least is a little clever (assuming they're black, and [aspiring to be] stars).

Good album. Different from the grindcore era, but that's what makes it good. I just love how it sounds ... the music ... the vocals. \m/
