Sadly not getting the attention this album deserves. I've heard it so many times already and it keeps growing on me with every listen. Bandicoot, Night Gallery/Projector, Howard St -- all 10/10 tracks. And that beautiful conclusion to 'By the time the starlight reaches our eyes'! I'm always ending up listening to this album as a whole instead of single tracks, and that's a good sign of how successful this project is. Don't see myself getting tired of the album soon either. Hope more people listen to this and it builds up popularity.

I discovered this band on itunemp3.com and have been listening to them ever since. I use this band for the coming of Him. I light a few crayolas, dunk my dillrickle in a wet snaydus and I open my curtains, suffusing my room with the eye-searing light of Dort.

Just wanted to hop in and say that this music is exactly what I need in my life at this moment. It's always amazing when that happens. Quicksand/Cradlesnakes doing it for me right now.

Sometimes Good Weather Follows Bad People is still flawless after all these years.

Stitches is good. Stitches is very good. This is so much better than it needed to be. They continue to push themselves to new and interesting places. This thing is just so alive.

I think they've grown with a million plays since late 2008/early 2009.. but I might be mistaken

i honestly think it's the other way around, that MM's "everywhere..." sounds like califone, as tim guests on that album and also "moon & antarctica", and is in ugly casanova, etc. either way, both are wonderful! califone and mountain goats have been my addiction lately. goodness.

I echo theluker89's sentiment that Califone's albums sound like Modest Mouse's [album artist=Modest Mouse]Everywhere And His Nasty Parlour Tricks[/album]. Lovely stuff.

"Funeral singers" made my top 10 for '09 if that counts for anything. this band is pretty great and they REALLY deserve to be listened to on headphones.

New album is vying for top spot alongside Quicksand + Cradlesnakes. Probably my favorite band of the last five years.
