Besides "Balls to the wall" i didnt knew Accept so after reading this I went and hear. I get what you mean and the CD vocalist did say his cleans are more like thrash harsh vocals, but its realy not the same to Udo. CD's are far more interesting, imo.

I must say that this is the best Cattle Decap album! I've only listened to this once all the way through and I'm sure I'll be giving it more listens!

Depends on what parts of the style you're looking for. If you love the huge, melodic bits, I'd suggest the EP "Accursed" by Vale of Pnath, maybe even something like "Immortal" by Lorna Shore if you're okay with deathcore chugging and layered, symphonic atmospheres. If you're digging the black metal elements integrated into a tech death setting, again, Vale of Pnath would be good for you, as well bands such as Behemoth, Belphegor, etc.

Yes, I'm talking about the blackened death metal aspect. I hear Belphegor is really similar. I'll listen to those bands, thank you!

Wow, Vale of Pnath and Belphegor really fit in this album's style (or Death Atlas fit their style, whatever). Again, thanks!

Being a black metal guy, cattle decap is that band that doesn't fit in with the rest of my favorite bands. This album has got to have the most BM influence that they've ever had, and it is truly amazing.

Oh my god. I am so excited. Cattle Decapitation is my favorite band, and this one has been said to be a change in their sound- the addition of doom and sludge influences. I can't wait to see how it turns out!
