Disbelief, established in 1990, is a death metal band hailing from Gundernhausen in Hesse, Germany. Their musical style incorporates a blend of death metal, doom metal, atmospheric sludge, and hardcore. To date, they have released nine albums: "Disbelief" (1996), "Infected" (1998), "Worst Enemy" (2000), "Shine" (2002), "Spreading The Rage" (2003), "66sick" (2005), "Navigator" (2007), "Protected Hell" (2009), and "Heal" (2010). Additionally, they released "The Symbol of Death" in 2017 and "The Ground Collapses" in 2020.

The current lineup consists of Karsten Jäger on vocals, Witali Weber and Jonas Khalil on guitars, Jochen Trunk on bass, and Kai Bergerin on drums.

Former members include Thomas Fritsch, Jan-Dirk Löffler, Denis Musiol, Oliver Lenz, Alex Varela, and Markus Gnap, who have all played guitars at different points in the band's history. Markus Gnap also served as a drummer.
