HEAVEN OR HELL is Don Toliver’s debut studio album and second official project, following the success of his debut mixtape Donny Womack. The album title metaphorically stands for the ups and downs in Toliver’s life.
The album name was officially announced on Toliver’s Instagram live stream in February 21, 2020, were Toliver is confidentally talking about the album:
“HEAVEN OR HELL”, the greatest album to come out this decade.
Toliver released the first official single “No Idea” on May 29th, 2019, which charted on the 68th position on the Billboard Hot 100 and gained popularity thanks to Toliver’s feature performance on Travis Scott’s “CAN’T SAY” as well as being viral on TikTok. The single came with accompanying visuals.
On December 13, 2019, he dropped the second single “Can’t Feel My Legs”.
Heaven Or Hell debuted at #7 on the Billboard 200 after selling 44,000 album-equivalent units during its first week. Heaven or Hell was certified gold by the RIAA on March 24, 2021.
