Had the pleasure of seeing Earthside live In Toronto last night! Such a brilliant performance. The new material sounded amazing live. Met the guys after the show. They were super friendly and so lovely. They were supporting Caligula's Horse, who were really good, but I was there for Earthside. 💙

That's great discovery for me! Modern prog with Slumber\Enshine\post rock vibes. Very tasty sound and great composition. Do more albums please!

Zach216, wow band members were "picky" (as if you can have a punk attitude when recording prog metal!) and wow #2, one of them attended Yale!! he must be, like, evil!. And they weren't poor - OMG that's a sin, they must be awful people. And yes, you sound like a hater and gossipy twat. The album sounds good!

Bjorn's exact words when asked by Jamie if he enjoyed working on their song... Strid whose the NICEST guy in the world said... "Well, you guys were probably the PICKIEST people I've ever worked with..." & he didn't say it in a condescending way but you can tell these guys are super anal & this album was just to say... "We made a record that has so-and-so on it" but it's not because they were well-connected or likable guys. That's for damn sure...

Basically these are a bunch of rich kids who lived near me (in Connecticut)... I don't know... I'm sure I'll sound like a hater but they threw a ton of money around (because they have it)... at least one of them attended YALE University... so what you have here is progressive rich-boy NERD music. They got Lajon to sing on a track... because once again they have MONEY. They got Jens Borgen to produce their record because they PAID... not because a label or someone BELIEVED in what they could do.

The real question here is: and who gives a fuck? They make amazing music. I don't care if they're living under a bridge or in a mansion as long as they continue making amazing music.

Probably the most ambitious debut I've heard in a long time. These guys are worth checking out.
