I remember buying this on CD when it was a new album. I was quite excited about it. A brilliant Exodus release! The title track is my favorite off this album!

Underrated album! Brutal and razor sharp riffs vocals. One of their best actually.

Easily their best since the iconic "Bonded by Blood"! Still doesn't come close to the quality of that one tho ofc, but at least this had a good singer, instead of Steve "Wannabe Bobby Blitz" Souza. And i love "Blitz", but Souza couldn't compete with that guy! Not even close actually! Shame, Exodus really had the potential to be one of the best Bay Area Thrash Metal bands out there with their mighty debut... :/ P.S. some of the riffs in here sound quite Death Metal-ish too imo, which is a great thing!

A magnificent album by Exodus. One of their best albums ever! I love this and Bonded by Blood the most.

This is a pretty good album. I personally love the guitar tone. I've never heard Gary Holt have crappy tone (especially having used Marshall's on the classic albums, one of the only guitarists I've heard make a Marshall sound like it has shredding balls). I peronally like the modern sound here. I think Dukes' vocals are OK, not terrible, not great. I personally don't care for Zetro's vocals much, and find my self trying to tune him out and listen to the riffs (though I think Zetro sounded his best on Tempo of the Damned). Exodus is very musically more aggressive than the average thrash band, and I think a vocalist with a deeper voice (ie Chuck Billy) would be a better fit.

Excellent album. For now this is the best for Dukes. His vocals here are maybe closest to thrash. Still Zetro remains unbeatable. Gary Holt is a genius thrashing dude. I just love his riffs.

Less old school sounding than "Tempo Of The Damned" but still a great thrash album.

I liked the vocals instantly, fuck haters, consider it not as Exodus which made BBB or FB but as fuckin heavy modern Exodus which has nothing to do with older stuff. And Shovel Headed Riff Machine is a great TOTD's successor. [2]

As big a fan I am of Souza, this album still kills and I'd definitely consider it as good as Tempo of the Damned. Dukes is better than I used to give him credit, it's just Atrocity Exhibition I don't like so much.
